OVERVIEW:

DESIGN PROCESS:

1. Initial Consultation:

To prepare for your Consultation, please print and answer the “Getting Started Questionnaire” first. This may help you clarify your intentions, and make our meeting as productive as possible.
Initial consultation will be at your home. We will discuss your landscaping needs and vision.
Feel free to provide pictures or links to pictures of your dream garden style and features (modern, cottage, formal, woodland, etc.). We use Pinterest and Houzz
We will provide you with a written estimate within two days.

2. Design Process (please see Portfolio > Plans page)

Step 1:

Rough Sketches: we will create several rough sketches and get your feedback as to the direction you want to go.
We will provide reference drawings / images to help explain our designs
A copy of your Lot plan is required
We will also need to take many measurements and pictures of your home.

Step 2:

Work with you towards a final design
Web links will be provided to video (3D rendering) so you can see updates to the design periodically.
A detailed quote breaking down all aspects of the project.

3. Design Documents:

Master Plan (typically includes a planting plan)
Hardscape/Measurement Plan
Planting Plan (provided separately on larger designs)
List of Plants and Trees for purchasing
Plant Schedule (list of plants with common and Botanical Name, number of plants, and care guides)
A Google Doc with a list of all plants used in the design - each with specific care instructions (fertilizer, pruning, watering...)
A web link to the final video (3D rendering) of your landscape
